The UK Prime Minister will push partner nations to deliver Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to target enemy locations during discussions in Britain on this Friday.

Sir Keir will host Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky alongside the so-called "coalition of the willing", consisting of more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have committed to offer the Ukrainian government protection commitments once a ceasefire is arranged.

Zelensky has been urging for several weeks for further extended-range systems from allied countries, an action that Moscow has stated would worsen the hostilities.

President Zelensky is journeying from the EU capital, where he met EU leaders on yesterday requesting financial support.

"The single figure participating in the ongoing war who does not want to stop the fighting is President Putin," the Prime Minister said.

Britain's leader will also announce that a hundred further anti-aircraft missiles will be provided to Kyiv earlier than planned, as detailed in a multi-billion pound agreement struck between the United Kingdom and Ukraine in March.

Diplomatic Momentum

Ukraine's leader travels off the back of significant diplomatic successes this week: Donald Trump's decision to finally apply new measures against Moscow, and European countries agreeing to support Ukraine's financial gap.

Sir Keir is aiming to continue the momentum by intensifying the pressure on Moscow to pursue an end to the war.

The Prime Minister will press leaders to expand the supply of advanced missile technology following an effective attack on a chemical plant in the Russian city, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered advanced weaponry.

"Furthermore, his horrific assaults on small children in a preschool recently make that abundantly clear," he continued.

Two children were part of at least seven fatally wounded in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which hit a preschool facility in the important metropolitan area the eastern city.

Financial Discussions

Britain's leader will discuss with supporting countries on how to take Russia's petroleum resources out of worldwide commerce.

The participants will also consider utilizing blocked Russian resources to supply Kyiv with financial loans, though the plan faced a lack of political consensus and jurisdictional challenges at the European meeting on yesterday.

The EU opted against approving an initiative to use approximately €140 billion in frozen Russian assets to financially prop up the Ukrainian economy.

Nevertheless, the participants decided to help support Kyiv's "financial needs" for the next two years.

United States furthermore disclosed restrictions on Wednesday against Russia's biggest petroleum firms, Rosneft Oil and Lukoil, as element of actions to apply financial pressure on Moscow to enter hostility discussions.

Moscow initiated its comprehensive attack of the country in February 2022. It currently holds about one-fifth of the country's land, comprising the Crimean peninsula Russia took control of in the year 2014.
